For more than two decades, Patti Garibay has been at the forefront of countering the culture by leading girls and women to create lives of integrity. She is the founder and executive director of American Heritage Girls (AHG), a faith-based interdenominational alternative to the Girl Scouts. She inspires and motivates thousands of girls to discover their identity and purpose in Christ through AHG’s transformative programming. She is the host of the Raising Godly Girls radio minute and has been featured in hundreds of media

outlets including Axis Parenting Teens Summit, Axis Online Homeschool Convention, FamilyLife Today podcast, TIME Magazine, The New York Times, and James Dobson’s Family Talk. Patti drew inspiration from her father’s attitude of “why curse the darkness when you can light a candle,” to take a leap of faith in starting American Heritage Girls in 1995. Today, there are AHG Troops in all 50 states and 15 countries through the Trailblazer Program, with over 60,000 members globally. Patti and her husband, Pat, are blessed with four grown children and nine grandchildren.
