The Innsbrook One-Mile Race

INNSBROOK 1-MILE RUN COMPETITION | May 4

We are excited that homeschool families are invited to participate in the 2024 Innsbrook One-Mile Run to help win money for HEAV!

This year’s event will take place at Innsbrook on May 4. The One-Mile Run is a safe, fun event for the entire family. The run is professionally timed and held on a spectator-friendly out-and-back course which is closed to vehicular traffic. Both kids and adults can enter, so sign up the whole family to help our school win!

Win cash for HEAV at This One-Mile Race!

The top five schools, including those who select homeschool, with the largest number of participants (must have at least 10) will win one of the following awards:

  • first – $300
  • second – $250
  • third – $200
  • fourth – $150
  • fifth – $100

Any school/homeschool with 25+ participants not in the top five will win $50. If homeschool participants are in the top winning categories, Live Red Foundation will make a donation to HEAV!

Note: the Innsbrook Mile is part of the East Coast Triathlon Festival and participation in any of the 10 events offered that weekend WILL count towards the competition. Plus, each participant will be given three tickets to Kings Dominion, which must be used over a seven-day period ($90 value)!!

To participate, select “homeschool” when registering.

Registration is now open and at the lowest prices of the year!

The Live Red Foundation (LRF) teaches life skills through free fitness programs to youth in low-opportunity neighborhoods throughout Richmond. Our programs walk alongside youth, challenging them physically while introducing life skills such as goal setting, empathy, self-belief, and mindfulness. LRF offers life skill and fitness programming at NO COST to the families they serve. These programs are funded through individual donors, corporate partners, and registrations from our run and multi-sport race series. All proceeds from the event will go to producing FREE fitness programs in local underserved neighborhoods. Learn more about Live Red’s adult and youth events.
