Call for HEAV Office Volunteers
Homeschooling is growing and the HEAV office is very busy!
Our goal is to provide a live voice on the phone during normal office hours. When parents call the office with questions or concerns, we don’t want them to go to voicemail. With limited staffing and a lot of data entry and clerical work, we need help to accomplish this goal.
Are you willing to help one or two days a week?
Our normal hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Some duties include:
- data entry (Salesforce, Excel, Word, Google Drive, Trello and more)
- help with office organization
- take phone messages and transfer calls
- assist with mailings
If you live in the vicinity of the Richmond office and would like to offer a helping hand to other homeschool families, or if you are a mature young adult and want to gain some new job skills and valuable work experience, we would love to talk with you.
