Is Science or the Bible Right About Origins
Many experts, theorists, and scientists claim that science contradicts the Bible and is therefore fallible, inaccurate, and cannot be trusted. But what we find in the truth of God’s Word is that an all-knowing God established laws of nature that govern the study of scientific principles. The word ‘science’ means knowledge. God is knowledge (Psalm 139), and he created our understanding of knowledge about him and his creation (Genesis 1:26-27). Based on this understanding, it is clear that science cannot exist without the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2:6). Through the lens of the Bible, this presentation will examine the origins of science (knowledge), explain the difference between historical and observational science, and show examples of how science confirms the Bible.
