Strong churches make strong families…
As home educators, we have a common interest in strengthening families. We’d love to share the vision of home education and what it can mean for you and for your church.

A Weekend to Remember
Two Choices that Changed a Legacy ~ Keith Tully
While pastoring a small church plant in North Carolina, my wife and I made two choices as a couple that completely changed our legacy. One of these choices resulted in our church hosting and supporting the local homeschool co-op. This choice was life-giving for both our church and the community. We trust that God will use our story as an encouragement in your role as a shepherd of homeschool families.

Connecting Families in Your Congregation
Parents are critical in teaching and training the next generation.
HEAV would be glad to come alongside you to help parents understand education at home. HEAV can provide the following materials and services:
Support Groups
What about support groups? Often, one of the first questions asked by new homeschoolers is, “Where can I find a local group?” HEAV maintains a listing of homeschool support groups and co-ops across the Commonwealth. Perhaps there is already one in your area!
Check out the Support Groups page here!
Support Group Leader Manual
Stepping into a leadership role in a homeschool organization can be daunting, whether it is an informal gathering of a few families in your church or a formal co-op.
HEAV’s free “Homeschool Leader Manual: a Survival Guide for Support Groups and Co-ops” contains much-needed information and ideas to help families in YOUR church.
Download the Homeschool Leader Manual here.
Homeschool Information in Spanish
Three recorded “How-to-Begin” webinars for Hispanic homeschool families are available on-demand–and free! Hosted by Karim Morato, these workshops provide the same accurate information provided in the Homeschool Crash Course, optimized for a Spanish-speaking audience. We can offer these workshops FREE for a limited time. Learn more here.
