NEW! Thursday Hours

Children’s program is now open on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Thursday Children’s Program sign-up is separate from Friday and Saturday signup. You still MUST be registered for the convention to sign up for Thursday Children’s Program.

Note: Unfortunately, we do not have the volunteer staff to care for a child with moderate to severe special needs or who requires personal care.

Someone has threatened to steal the Golden Peach Tree, and it’s up to us to stop them! Join two special agents as they search the fruit orchard to find the culprits before it’s too late.

Along the way, your children will memorize the Fruit of the Spirit, learn several praise and worship songs, complete Fruit of the Spirit-themed crafts, and have the chance to release their energy through active, exciting games.

Children’s Program is offered Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of the convention.

Children’s Program FAQ

We enlist the help of many volunteers and team leaders to engage the children with fun, enjoyable group activities. Each child is assigned to a team leader and one or two assistants who together are responsible for a teams of up to 21 children who will remain together throughout their stay in the Children’s Program. They will at times join other teams for fast-paced transitions to organized games, singing, and crafts.

Yes! Many of our volunteers come back year after year to serve in the Children’s Program! All of our volunteers provide a reference that is carefully reviewed, and any volunteers aged 18 and over undergo a background check.

Yes, all children in a family are placed on the same team at the convention unless the parents specifically request that they be placed on separate teams. Please send placement requests to childrensprogram@heav.org by June 1, 2022.

We welcome all children! Unfortunately, we do not have the volunteer staff to care for a child who requires personal care, and our staff members are prohibited from entering the bathroom with any child. If possible, a nurse will be available in the Children’s Program at all times and a paramedic is available at the Convention Center.
