Intermediate Chess Camp

Suitable for students ages 8 and up who are proficient in all material covered in the crash course, this mini-camp will include instruction on tactics, endgame techniques, and an introduction to strategic concepts, particularly positional assessment and pawn structure.

Beginner Chess Camp

In this course, suitable for ages 8 and up, students will learn the basics of the game of chess including terminology, board orientation and setup, piece movements including castling and en passant, basic defense and calculations, opening principles, basic checkmate patterns, and a brief introduction to tactics.
