Transcript vs. Diploma on NOI

Q. Is there any disadvantage to providing a transcript rather than a copy of a diploma when submitting my Notice of Intent?

A. Both a diploma and transcript are acceptable and are of equal value.  If you cannot find your diploma and request a copy from the school or college from which you graduated, they will send a transcript. Course titles, grades, GPAs, etc., on a transcript are of no importance to the superintendent. The superintendent is looking only for a graduation date–nothing else.
