Tester’s Credentials

Q. The superintendent’s office has requested to see my tester’s credentials. Am I required to supply that information with the test results?

A. No, if you have complied with the homeschool statute and have chosen to use a standardized achievement test, the law requires you to only submit a copy of the test results by August 1 each year. The law does not require a parent to submit information or credentials about the test administrator. The superintendent cannot evaluate or approve the test administrator.
