Mentor Moms
If you are a homeschooling mom with experience homeschooling high school and a desire to help others on their homeschooling journey, please consider serving as a Mentor Mom with Home Educators Association of Virginia.
WHAT IS A MENTOR MOM?
A Mentor Mom is a current or previous homeschool mom that has experience and knowledge with homeschooling through the high school years. A mentor mom will be part of a supportive community that will connect with, equip, and encourage the next generation of families homeschooling through high school.
A Mentor Mom will
- communicate with their mentee(s) on a weekly or as needed basis
- attend a virtual monthly training meeting with the Mentor Mom Program Director
- attend scheduled webinars on different high school topics
- attend a monthly Live Q&A for mentees to ask questions (optional)
