Mentors
If you are a homeschooling parent with experience homeschooling preschool or high school and a desire to help others on their homeschooling journey, please consider serving as a mentor with Home Educators Association of Virginia.
WHAT IS A MENTOR?
A mentor is a current or previous homeschool mom who has experience and knowledge with homeschooling early learners or high school students. A mentor will be part of a supportive community that will connect with, equip, and encourage the next generation of homeschooling families.
A mentor will
- communicate with their members on a weekly or as needed basis
- attend a virtual monthly training meeting with the mentoring program director
- attend scheduled webinars on different preschool or high school topics
