LaShand Coleman

LaShand Coleman is a senior talent acquisition specialist with The Apprentice School at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII. She has been employed with The Apprentice School for over eight years. Her background is in human resources and workforce development.

LaShand holds a master’s degree in human resource management with a focus on organizational development. She is passionate about helping individuals build and grow their careers and takes pride in assisting with interview skills, résumé writing, and understanding the importance of networking.
