The world of high school is not uncharted territory–many have done this before and are happy to walk the journey with you!

Join with other parents in the same boat, guided by an experienced homeschool parent, to share, plan, and get solid guidance on the things that matter most—whether your child is college-bound, career-bound, or undecided.

HEAV’s Homeschool Mentor Program is a nine-month program where you will have weekly small group coaching, informative monthly webcasts, live Q&A sessions, and access to a whole host of resources. The session begins on September 1.

The College Board

The College Board is “a not-for-profit membership association whose mission is to connect students to college success and opportunity.” They have a variety of homeschool-specific information on their site.

Extra books and helpful ideas for taking college board tests. Forms for taking the tests can be picked up at your local high school counseling office for no charge.

College Resources for Disabled Student

Students with disabilities will find many resources here to help navigate the college experience—from the prospective student search through graduation. Many campuses are equipped with offices and services that address accessibility, accommodation, and assistive technology for a diverse range of needs.

Constitutional Law for Christian Students by Mike Farris

Students participate in secure internet chat sessions hosted by Dr. Farris every one to two weeks, and may also post questions to Dr. Farris at any time using the secure internet forum. The course includes a midterm and final exam with law-school-style essay questions.
