Support Virginia Homeschool Families!
Home Educators Association of Virginia protects and champions homeschool rights and freedoms for families across the Commonwealth. Through support, guidance, and a myriad of resources, HEAV equips parents to homeschool with confidence and has been doing so for more than 42 years.
Now, more than ever, your gift matters.
Your donation directly fuels our mission to encourage and empower parents in their calling to educate and disciple their children. Because of supporters like you, we
- Defend homeschooling freedoms from legislative attacks
- Resist overreach by school authorities
- Provide accurate information, vital resources, workshops, and one-on-one guidance
When you give to HEAV, you directly partner with our staff in this deeply rewarding work–and become part of a movement that’s shaping the future, one family at a time.

We couldn’t do what we do without YOU.
With the amazing growth of homeschooling in Virginia, our office and homeschool freedom teams are struggling to manage thousands of calls and emails asking for help. Continual overreach, misapplication, and misunderstanding of the law has threatened homeschool rights across the Commonwealth. HEAV’s homeschool freedom team has handled more than 369 incidents this year alone.
Please take a stand for freedom and help the homeschool freedom team meet the growing challenges.
