Ricardo and Ana María are the founders of TransitionED, a non-profit organization that equips Hispanic families to educate at home. Since moving to the U.S. over 20 years ago, they have become pioneers in the Hispanic homeschooling community. In 2022, Ricardo and Ana created the first Hispanic homeschooling conference in the nation, “Educa Por Diseño,” gathering hundreds of people in Miami, Florida, including local, national, and international leaders.

¿Como construir un altar en casa?
Existe la necesidad imperiosa de que la familia retorne a su Creador y establezca un altar devocional en el hogar donde se estudie la Palabra de Dios como fundamento para la vida y la formación integral de nuestros hijos, los cuales son nuestros alumnos y a su vez nuestros primeros discípulos. Esta charla es una invitación a que, así como nos enfocamos en brindar un desarrollo emocional, físico y académico saludable a nuestros hijos, recordemos que la relación con ellos es lo primario en el diseño educativo de Dios. Tener relaciones fuertes y saludables con ellos es necesario para poder dirigir su corazón hacia Su Creador conectando toda la enseñanza en el hogar al lente óptico de la Palabra. Este ejemplo lo deja el mejor maestro que ha caminado sobre la tierra, Jesus. El se ocupaba de la condición del corazón y tenía un altar de adoración diaria donde construía su relación con el Padre. En esta charla queremos enseñarte como construir un altar de estudio y adoración al Autor original de la familia de una manera sencilla, práctica y original para tu casa. Medita en esto: En medio de una sociedad cambiante lo único que no cambia es la voluntad de nuestro Padre Celestial y a través de educar en el hogar podemos conocer diariamente Su voluntad y preservar el propósito de vida de nuestros hijos.
How to Build an Altar at Home
There is an urgent need for the family to return to its Creator and establish a devotional altar at the home, where the Word of God is studied as the foundation for everyday life. This talk is an invitation to parents to realize that—as they strive to provide the best emotional, physical and academic development environments for their children—they must not neglect a strong and healthy relationship with them. This is the example of Jesus, the best teacher that ever walked on Earth. He began with the heart, with a devotional altar where he built relationship with his Father daily. Since education is discipleship, relationship with the child is a priority in God’s educational design. We want to teach you how to build an altar of worship and study as part of the homeschool journey. Meditate on this: Amid a changing society, the only thing that does not change is the will of our Heavenly Father. Through home education, we can learn more about His will daily and give our children a strong foundation for life.
Padres por Diseño
Un padre o madre por diseño es aquel que reconoce que tiene una gran bendición en sus hijos y a su vez una fuerte responsabilidad frente al Padre Celestial de educar a una generación que le conozca y le ame a El. Un padre por diseño es incansable, curioso, humilde, bondadoso, sabio, entendido, servicial, genuino, pero sobre todo rendido a los pies del Padre de padres quien da la instrucción principal. Esta charla es para los padres que desean convertirse en padres que viven y diseñan un plan educativo correcto para sus hijos sin importar el sacrificio que esto implique. Exploraremos los ajustes que pasan los hogares para desarrollar su estilo de educación en casa, daremos ideas creativas para fomentar la unidad familiar, explicaremos como pueden los padres trabajar en equipo con sus hijos y por último hablaremos de los derechos que poseen los padres según la constitución y la Palabra de Dios para ser protectores y voceros de estos mismos. Parents by Design

It will examine how households can adapt to develop their own unique approach to home education. We will share creative strategies to foster family unity, explain how parents and children can collaborate as a team, and discuss the rights and responsibilities of parents as outlined in the Constitution and the Word of God.
