Dr. Amy Moore is a Converse-wearing dramatic introvert with a tell-it-like-it-is approach to helping people live life with more resilience, less frustration, and a whole lot of grace. She’s a cognitive psychologist and the director of research at LearningRx in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the headquarters of the largest network of cognitive training centers in the world. She specializes in neuroplasticity-based interventions for neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD, learning disabilities, concussions, traumatic brain injury, and age-related cognitive decline.

Her brain-training research has been published in peer-reviewed medical and psychology journals and presented at conferences around the country.

With a PhD in psychology and a master’s degree in early childhood education, Dr. Amy has been a child development specialist, a parent educator, and a teacher of teachers She’s been working with struggling learners for 30 years. She is a TEDx speaker, host of the Brainy Moms podcast, board-certified Christian counselor, trauma specialist, life coach, writer—and she is an ADHD mom, and a mom with ADHD. She’s also the pastor of care and counseling at Larkspur Church in Larkspur, Colorado. She’s been married to the love of her life, Jeff, for 27 years, and they have three adult sons.
