Welcome, Pastor!

An Invitation just for Pastors

Strong churches make strong families…

As home educators, we have a common interest in strengthening families. We’d love to share the vision of home education and what it can mean for you and for your church.

An Invitation to the 2022 Convention

All pastors are welcome at the convention!
If you are a pastor who is not homeschooling or who has never attended the convention before, you are invited to attend as our guest!

You are invited to attend all workshops, keynotes, used curriculum sale, and exhibit hall, plus the special pastor’s workshop—all without cost to you.

Please complete the form above to submit your request. As soon as your eligibility is verified, we will contact you with a free discount code that will allow you to register for the convention without cost!

* If the family is attending, the pastor must attend with them for the family to be admitted free.

Not a pastor? Let Us Extend a Personal Invitation.

Let us know here if you you’d like us to send your pastor a personal invitation to the convention in August!

Helping Families Flourish

God created marriage and the family. In Deuteronomy 6, God’s simple and effective plan for the family begins with parents loving God with everything in them and having His Word on their hearts. When parents have established their own relationship with God and His Word, they are equipped to teach their children to love God and His Word.

Steve Demme, founder of Building Faith Families and the creator of Math-U-See, has served in pastoral ministry for many years. The father of a son with Down Syndrome, he is also a much-sought inspirational speaker for parents of children with special needs.

Connecting Families in Your Congregation

Parents are critical in teaching and training the next generation. HEAV would be glad to come alongside you to help parents understand education at home. HEAV can provide the following materials and services:

Support Groups

What about support groups? Often, one of the first questions asked by new homeschoolers is, “Where can I find a local group?” HEAV maintains a listing of homeschool support groups and co-ops across the Commonwealth. Perhaps there is already one in your area! Check out the Support Groups page here!

Support Group Leader Manual

Stepping into a leadership role in a homeschool organization can be daunting, whether it is an informal gathering of a few families in your church or a formal co-op.

HEAV’s free “Homeschool Leader Manual: a Survival Guide for Support Groups and Co-ops” contains much-needed information and ideas to help families in YOUR church.
