How to Begin Mid Year

Q. I never thought I’d be asking this question, but what should I do if I want to begin homeschooling now? I know I’ve missed the deadline, so what is the process?

A. This is a question we’re often asked this time of year. The process is essentially the same as it is prior to the August 15 deadline–with one exception: If your child is enrolled in a public school, you must withdraw him from the school.
