Help Us Reach Out to Your Church, MOPs Group, and ???

If you’ve signed up as an Outreach Partner, but haven’t received a call from us recently, please let us know! Outreach Partners are invaluable in touching the lives of new or beginning homeschoolers, parents of preschoolers, and those who have yet to learn about their homeschooling options.

Our Outreach Program makes it easy–simply sign up as an Outreach Partner, and we’ll help you with whatever you need to reach your area–whether it is through your church, homeschool group, community, or the Internet. Perhaps you can distribute magazines or flyers, or post to your own social media groups–or even your own Facebook page! You don’t even have to write the posts. We have specially-prepared announcements, signatures, graphics, and more, available free for you to use.

Go here for ready-made posts, downloads, and graphics you can send friends and family or post on blogs, groups, and forums to invite others to the convention. Outreach work is effortless!

Questions? E-mail outreachpartners@heav.org or become an outreach partner here.

Article of the Week

Seven Reasons Why Stressing Over Homeschooling Is Unnecessary – Clara

The straightforward title tells you a lot about this author and this blog entry. It’s a quick and easy read that will help set your mind at ease about homeschool if the Lord has called you to this form of education. The author dispels some myths (kids do not have to learn it all by age 12–nor learn it all) and encourages you to give your cares to the Lord. Now, where have we heard that before?

Homeschool Q&A

Q. Should I send in test scores if my child is enrolled in a private school for her core classes, and I homeschool her for only one subject?

5) Worth Repeating
“The right place for a child’s education is with his family and in his own home where God placed him for that very purpose, and the right and best teachers are his own God-chosen parents.”

– Josiah Friberg, founder and CEO of Educating the Generations for Christ, homeschooling dad using the Principle Approach®, and missionary to Haiti, to name just a few. Access his flock of websites through this link. The mission statement on his blog, “All Education Is Religious,” is “Our passion is training Christian parents, teachers, and grandparents to educate future generations for Christ by following God’s plan to perpetuate their faith through Kingdom Education.”

Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.

– 1 Chronicles 29:11 (KJV)
