The Sacredness of Sexuality: Intentional Conversations to Have with Your Children

Is sexuality sacred? Culture would try to convince our kids that their sexuality is subjective and easily influenced. Your child’s impressions of sexuality begin with the conversations in your home. In this session, you will be introduced to practical tools and resources that will help you intentionally guide your children toward sexual wholeness and health. You have the invitation of being the most important teacher in your children’s life as they navigate sexuality and influences in their lives, including their relationships and friendships.

Session 3

Cultivating a Mentally Healthy Home

Is our country in the middle of a mental health crisis? Are families really struggling to maintain mental health? Have anxiety, depression, and death by suicide continued to increase in children and teens? In this session, you will learn what it means to encourage and develop a mentally healthy environment to foster healthy momentum in your home. We will discuss elements that can contribute to the breakdown of mental health and will explore practical ways to build the main elements of mental health in your home and the youth around you.

Parents are invited to step into the incredibly transformational role of parenting. In this session, you will learn about the “7 Traits of Effective Parenting” and the various and most common challenges parents tend to face at each age and stage of their child’s development. You will also learn how these research-based traits can help you navigate parenting challenges more effectively in the future as you move past just reacting to the behaviors in your children.

Navigating Personality Differences in Your Home

In this session, you get to explore the different personality types in your home and how differences in personality complicate interpretations and family dynamics. We will discuss dynamics of behaviors, and the importance of the “7 Traits of Effective Parenting,” as you navigate these differences. (See below.) You will learn about the strengths and challenges that each personality contributes to the day-to-day culture in your home. All family members will be challenged to use their strengths and to pursue growth as they lean into the beautiful transformation called “family.” This session will add practical insights to your parenting toolbox as you guide your children toward healthy relationships and learn more about your “invitation” as mom or dad.
