This workshop will demonstrate that writing essays is more fun than eating an ice cream cone…on a rollercoaster…in Narnia!
Okay, not really. Essays aren’t much fun. They are the vegetables of writing projects. We write them not so much because we love it, but because they are good for us. And because Mom makes us. This workshop will show you how to write the basic essay. We’ll talk about what an essay really is (most people get this wrong), and the basics of how to write one. Bring something to write with, so we can practice together.
Essay writing may not be a barrel of monkeys, but it’s not as hard as you think either. This workshop with Brian Wasko of WriteAtHome will provide a few, easy-to-remember principles that will help you craft strong essay!
