This event is filled with hands-on activities, crafts, demonstrations, and fun. Also included in your day is a visit inside “America’s Largest Home.” This one-day event is filled with hands-on activities, crafts, demonstrations, and fun! Also included in your day is a visit inside the Biltmore Estate–“America’s Largest Home.” Activities include a self-guided visit inside Biltmore House, Gardens, Conservatory, Winery, and Antler Hill Village, as well as hands-on activities for the homeschool festival at Antler Hill Farm.
Directions: From Richmond, Virginia Follow I-95 south to I-85S at Petersburg. Take I-85 south into North Carolina and then follow I-40 west to Asheville. Take Exit 50B (US Highway 25N). After exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance. Driving time: approximately 6 hours.
From Roanoke, Virginia Follow I-81 south into Tennessee to Exit 57 (I-26E), and take scenic I-26 east through Johnson City to Asheville. In Asheville, follow I-240 east to I-40W. Follow I- 40 west to Exit 50B (US Highway 25N). After exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance. Driving time: approximately 4 hours.
