AN HEAV-SPONSORED EVENT
Come experience the beauty of Norfolk Botanical Garden on Homeschool Day and check out Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea. This exhibit features marine debris that has washed up on beaches and constructed to create beautiful pieces of artwork in the forms of sea creatures. Also, experience hands-on as well as self-guided activities throughout the day.
Additional Homeschool Day Information
- The garden will be open until 7 p.m., and everyone is welcome to explore up until that time. The price for not-yet-members is $12 per person. Children ages 3+ will need a ticket. This includes materials for the students. The price for children of members is $8 ages 3+ (includes materials and programs). Adult members are free.
- From Williamsburg/Richmond, DC, follow I-64 to Exit 279
(Norview Avenue), turn left on Azalea Garden Road from
Norview Avenue. The Garden Entrance is on the right.
- From Virginia Beach, take I-264 to I-64 (Richmond) to Exit 279B (Norview Avenue). Turn left on Azalea Garden Road from Norview Avenue. The Garden entrance is on the right.
