The Lee-Fendall House Museum welcomes homeschoolers for
Homeschool Day on Friday, April 24! Come for hands-on, educational activities that explore how life in America has changed over time. The theme this spring will focus on the history of gardens as a source of food, medicine, and recreation. Learn how herbs were used to treat various maladies as well as flavor food. Try out some popular historical lawn games. Special, interactive tours of the house and garden will be offered throughout the day from 10 am to 4 pm.
There is a small parking lot at the front of the house and free street parking on Oronoco Street.There are many restaurants within easy walking distance of the museum for lunch. Space is available in the museum garden for picnics.
