1. Triangle Rock Club Richmond’s Homeschool Group Visits – Richmond – March 26 (multiple additional dates)
Triangle Rock Club Richmond
Tuesday, March 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost: $12/participant. Open homeschool visits are scheduled twice a month; homeschool groups can also set up a time to come in for a two-hour visit with their group at a discounted rate. No specific homeschool group affiliation is necessary.
Triangle Rock Club Richmond’s Homeschool Group Visits offer a chance to climb indoors in our top rope climbing room, while giving you the opportunity to connect with other homeschooled students from in and around RVA. Each homeschool visit includes official TRC Event Belayers who assist throughout your time at the facility to ensure each climber gets the most out of their climb time. Harness rentals are included as well; participants should wear closed-toe shoes. Climbing shoes are available for an additional $5 per participant.
Parents and siblings are welcomed–and encouraged–to join in the fun. The minimum age to climb is four years old, and anyone age eleven or younger must have direct adult supervision while out on the climbing floor. All participants must complete a facility waiver, and minors must have a waiver completed by a parent or court-appointed guardian only. Waivers can be submitted online in advance.
