Senior Transcript

Q. My daughter is a high school senior, graduating this May. How should I reflect the grades for her classes this year since they are not yet complete?

A. After including grades and a GPA for grades 9-11, you should list the same information for the first semester of her senior year. Colleges will request that you send second semester grades if your student is accepted at their college.

You may want to get a copy of Setting the Records Straight by Lee Binz. It’s a wonderful resource for high school. Your library may have it or you can order it from HEAV. We also have a transcript service that will create a professional transcript based on the information you provide. Our transcript counselor can answer your questions and make sure the transcript reflects the work and academic activities your student has completed.
