Monday, August 6, through Friday, August 10, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: $95/student, early registration through July 31; $110/student, registrations August 1 and later. This event is for students ages 12 and older. Free host housing is available.

Atlantic Speech and Debate in Virginia Beach is offering a four-day speech writing workshop, which will put your student ahead of the game for the competition season, which opens in the fall for Stoa, and January for the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association. Students will complete one written speech and learn the skills they need to write more.

Blue Ridge Thunder Cloggers invites you to dance the day away at Appalachian Stomp! Join lead instructors Josh King and Blake Dunn, along with regional and local instructors. Three rooms of instruction, including “Beginners from Scratch,” offer plenty of fun for dancers of all experience levels. Recommended for dancers ages 10 and older, but all ages are welcome.
