Join Chesterfield County Public Library for the fourth annual Chesterfield Maker Expo. Meet makers of all kinds, including artists, engineers, librarians, and more. Explore what they do, see demonstrations, and try hands-on activities. This family-friendly festival will feature crafts, robots, puppets, print-making, machines, and more.

“Musikgarten Demo Classes” – Tuesday,  August 7, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Age ranges vary by class.

Sing, dance, move, and play instruments together in a positive, nurturing environment. Developmental activities combined with musical play set the stage for fun as you play musically with your child.

All classes are taught by Caroline Baldwin, licensed and certified Musikgarten instructor and early childhood music and movement specialist.

4. Theatrical Summer Camps at the Historic Wayne Theatre – Waynesboro – Multiple Dates in June and July

The Historic Wayne Theatre will conduct summer camps for children grades K-12. There are five camps, each lasting one week between June 11 and July 27, 2018. All camps run

Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost: Camp fees range from $125 to $175. Pre-registration required.

Camps include “Imagination Stage,” “Dance Boot Camp,” “Theatrical Makeup Camp,” “Musical Theatre Camp,” and “Theatrical Production Camp.”
