American School

Founded in 1897, American School later became the first correspondence school to become regionally accredited. Today it is accredited by three reputable accrediting bodies and students now have several different online learning opportunities.

Why you should enroll with American School.

American School offers accredited courses in grades 6-12 at an affordable cost. Courses may be taken collectively as part of a full middle school or high school program which culminates in the student earning an accredited high school diploma, or courses may be taken individually to enrich an existing homeschool program. Courses are available in print and online formats which ensures students can learn in the method that is most comfortable to them.

As a non-profit institution, American School keeps tuition as affordable as possible. Tuition always includes all study materials, grading, access to the online student center for students and parents and much more, and monthly payment plans are available for students in full-year programs. A leader in distance education since 1897, American School is accredited by MSA-CESS, Ai and NCPSA and recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education.
