Young Entrepreneurs

Are you a homeschool student or graduate who has his or her own business?

HEAV loves to encourage young entrepreneurs!

Each year, we invite homeschool students or recent graduates who have their own businesses to participate in the Annual Virginia Homeschool Convention in a unique and innovative way. Each year, they set up a booth in the Exhibit Hall, present their own unique products or services in a Christian, professional environment, and gain valuable experience.

Sign-up for Young Entrepreneurs is full this year.

Be sure to visit Young Entrepreneurs in the Exhibit Hall at the convention on June 6 to 8, and encourage tomorrow’s leaders… today!

The Young Entrpeneur participant is coming soon!

Are you a homeschool student or recent graduate who has your own business?

HEAV encourages you–a young adult entrepreneur–to participate in the 41st Annual Virginia Homeschool Convention in a unique and innovating way!

Gain some valuable experience and present your own unique product or service in a Christian, professional environment.

Apply for a Young Entrepreneur table in the Exhibit Hall. Take this opportunity to grow, learn, and let others know about your business. You can excite other young adults about the possibility of starting their own businesses–and have FUN in the process.

To participate

  • You must be living at home under your parents’ authority and not married; the business may not be the primary source of income for your family.
  • It must be YOUR own business–not a side business your parents own or operate.
  • The cost is only $50, and you can expect to go through a similar approval process as any new exhibitor in the Exhibit Hall. Young Entrepreneurs are also subject to the same Exhibit Hall rules and regulations as other exhibitors. These will be provided when an invitation is extended.
  • You must between 10 and 21 years of age. Those under age 13 must be accompanied by a parent at the booth at all times.
  • Apply by filling out the form below, and you will be contacted by the Exhibit Hall coordinator.
  • Samples of the products you plan to sell may be requested of you. Samples are not returned.
  • If multiple siblings have their own individual businesses, they must apply individually. One sibling’s business being accepted does not guarantee acceptance for other siblings.
