ARTICLES AND INFORMATION
Article of the Week

How to Celebrate the Seasons at Home – Joshua Greer

One of the wonderful things about homeschooling is that the world becomes our classroom and provides seasonal changes to reinforce a lifelong love of learning. The author shares brief, subject-specific ideas (science, art, language, and so on) for each season of the year. You’ll see opportunities to learn as all sorts of similar things pop into your head as you read. This is one of the great foundations of home education!

4) Parting Thought – Prayer for Year’s End

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for a favorable state legal environment in which to raise our blessings in the nurture and admonition of the Lord by homeschooling. Help us to protect it. Continue to teach us so that we may teach our children. Help us to be refreshed and to learn and grow so we will and continue to honor You. Guide our decisions for next year so that You will be glorified in all we do.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
