Volunteer in the Children’s Program Today

HEAV has a fantastic opportunity for teens–and adults!–with a heart to serve and ambition to succeed. The Children’s Program is a huge blessing to families with young children–AND it creates an opportunity for teens ages 13 and up who are looking to earn:

    • Service-Hour Requirements
    • Boy Scout or Girl Scout Merit Badges
    • Rank Advancement
    • Childcare Experience
    • Citizenship Recognition

On top of that, you’ll have a lot of fun working with fellow teens and young adults. Volunteer one day, or both…share a craft…lead a game. The time they spend with the children is something they’ll never forget. All Children’s Program volunteers will receive a t-shirt, lunch on both days, and a Volunteer Service-Hour Certificate.

Find out more information on our website, or e-mail childrensprogram@heav.org.

4) Parting Thought – Using Windows in the Bible

“Then Noah decided to check and see if there was dry land. He must have had a laptop computer that seemed to take forever to boot up and finally, “After 40 days, Noah opened the window he had made”(Genesis 8:6). He was very frustrated that it took him 40 days to open the window, but he was only using a 286 cubit with 3 RAM (and 4 ewes), so what could he realistically expect?…”
