Thank you for your patience!  Graduation registration will open Thursday, March 29, 2012. Registration forms are available online, but hurry–spaces fill very quickly. Registration will close April 12, or when 200 participants have signed up.

MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Dr. Tedd Tripp

Dr. Tedd Tripp has been senior pastor emeritus of Grace Fellowship Church since his retirement as senior pastor after 29 years of service, and he continues to serve as an elder there. He and his wife, Margy–married in 1968–have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Tedd is a graduate of Geneva College (B.A. in History), Philadelphia Theological Seminary (M. Div.), and Westminster Theological Seminary (D. Min. with an emphasis in pastoral counseling).

Tedd is the author of the popular child-rearing books Shepherding a Child’s Heart and Shepherding a Child’s Heart, Parent’s Handbook and co-author with Margy of Instructing a Child’s Heart. Before seminary Tedd worked in industry as a contractor. In 1979, Tedd and Margy founded Immanuel Christian School, where Tedd has served as both a teacher and an administrator; he continues to serve as ICS Board Chairman Emeritus. From 1985-1997, Tedd served as a counselor in the Lehigh Valley office of the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation. Since 1994, Tedd has maintained an extensive ministry as a conference speaker and presenter of Shepherding a Child’s Heart seminars. His books, video presentations, and audio materials are used throughout the world

Blessings of Obedience – Tedd Tripp

Pastor Tripp remembers his first memory verse: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with promise: ‘that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth’” (Ephesians 6:1-3). He considers it a crucial principle for parents and children to learn because of two promises. First, things will go well spiritually; second, that things in life will go well practically. Read more about these simple, but critical points in the article.

Q- My two elementary age children did not do well in math, so I put them back one grade level in math when we began homeschooling in September. They are doing well in other subjects. Do I have to test them for grade appropriate math?
