Thank You to Our Volunteers

The 29th Annual HEAV Virginia Homeschool Convention–Home Education: Touching the Heart–was our largest ever, and we could not have done it without our volunteers, many of whom helped before, during, and after the convention. They are the backbone of this organization, and together we touched the hearts of thousands and thousands of homeschooling families!

Thank you to all of you who gave sacrificially of your time and talents–we so appreciate you and hope to have you join us again in 2013!

Sweden: Johansson Family Hopeful After Recent Ruling – You Can Help!

Incredibly, it has now been three years since Dominic Johansson was seized from his parents and taken off of an aircraft as they prepared to move to India–because the parents wished to homeschool. After all this time in state custody with extremely restricted visiting (as little as one hour every five weeks), a judge has refused the state’s request to end parental rights and commented that he could not ignore the ample and unanimous evidence of proper parental care. Read more on the HSDLA website and see who you can contact in Sweden to urge the authorities to act now to return the boy to his family.
