4) Parting Thought – Laughter Is Still the Best Medicine

No matter who you are or what situations you face, we defy you to not feel at least a little bit better off after watching this short video. (It reminds us of the “baby and paper tearing” videos on YouTube). Keep giving all the big–and little–problems in your life to our Lord, practice good preventative medicine, and enjoy multiple smiles, laughs, and hugs every day. God be with you throughout 2014!

5) Worth Repeating

“Whatever a man depends upon, whatever rules his mind, whatever governs his affections, whatever is the chief object of his delight, is his god.”

- Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892), British preacher, author, and evangelist.

6) Verse of the Week

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. Take heed now; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.

- 1 Chronicles 28:9-10 (KJV)
