If Motherhood Isn’t a Competitive Sport, Then Why Do We Beat Ourselves Up?

5) Worth Repeating
If God has work for me to do, I cannot die.

- Henry Martyn (1781-1812), Anglican clergyman and missionary to India and Persia. Upon his arrival in India, he struck up a friendship with famed Baptist missionary pioneer, William Carey. While on the mission field, he translated the New Testament, Psalms, and Book of Common Prayer into multiple languages. Read an inspiring biographical article, “Henry Martyn Forsook All for Christ,” here. Martyn survived only six years before dying in Turkey while attempting to return to England because of his health.
