2008 Bills and Resolutions

Every year, HEAV examines bills and resolutions as they go through the General Assembly looking for anything that might affect you as a home educator. When we find something, we track it and take any necessary actions, including lobbying the legislators on your behalf.

Below is a list of bills and resolutions we are currently tracking. For updates on an item’s status, please check the HEAV Blog where Ben Lansing, our legislative lobbyist, is posting the latest news from Richmond. And be sure to sign up for our Legislative Updates, periodic newsletters containing important information on what’s happening in the General Assembly.

As always, thank you for your support of HEAV – we couldn’t do what we do without YOU!
