Let’s Get Started!
Step 1: Watch the 3-Minute Video.
This video explains the process and prepares you for successfully creating a transcript. HEAV’s transcript provides a professional, one-page overview that arranges information in an easy-to-read, standardized way for employers and admission officers. However, you should strongly consider adding an additional page that offers extracurricular details, honors, awards, course descriptions, etc.–anything your child has done that will distinguish him or her from other applicants.
Step 2: Make Sure You Have All the Items You Need.
(The transcript must be filled out in one sitting, so you will need these before you begin.)
You Will Need:
Your completed Transcript Worksheet (357)
(Please print the worksheet to use for your personal notes. It is designed to ensure you have gathered all the information for the online form.)
OR
All of the following information:
- Student and parent’s name and address
- Student’s birth date
- Grading range or scale used (A=90-100, etc.)
- Graduation date or proposed graduation date
- PSAT/ACT/SAT scores (if applicable)
- Name, grades, and credits for each course (See the Q&A for information.)
Step 3: Pay for the Transcript.
Your payment is what tells us you need a transcript sent to you.
