To honor those who serve the homeschool community, HEAV is hosting a Leadership Luncheon for support group leaders. Along with the delicious food and scrumptious desserts, we will have an encouraging speaker and lots of exciting gifts!
If you’re in support group leadership (a board member, a newsletter editor, an officer, or a committee chair), a person ready to move into leadership, or a homeschool e-group moderator, you are invited to join us at the convention on Friday, June 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., in rooms G, H, and I at the Marriott Hotel for a special luncheon to honor your service to other homeschoolers. The luncheon, hosted by HEAV, is FREE to you—the only prerequisites are that you are a leader and are registered for the convention!

NOTE: Registration is limited to four leaders per group in order to accommodate as many groups as possible. The registration deadline is Friday, May 24, 2013 or when we reach capacity. Because of limited seating, we are not able to accommodate children other than nursing babies.
Luncheon Speaker
We are delighted to have Heidi St. John as our special guest speaker this year. A favorite conference speaker, Heidi is also the author of the popular The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Romance and The Busy Homeschool Mom’s Guide to Daylight. A busy mom herself–with seven children–Heidi approaches homeschooling with humor and grace at events all across North America. We’re looking forward to an inspiring and uplifting time of fellowship!

We’ll have dozens of door prizes supplied by our generous vendors. In the past, leaders received a variety of gifts including hand-made soaps, specialty books, museum passes, a $100 gift certificate, a mini computer, and more!
Cancellations
The plated luncheon is FREE, but please let us know if you make a reservation, but cannot attend. Call our office at 804-278-9200 so we can remove your name from our reservation list. If we do not receive your cancellation by May 25, we must ask you to pay for the cost of the lunch. If you notify us by this date, you will not be asked to pay the $30 luncheon cost.
