What: HEAV has partnered with the State Fair of Virginia to bring you special discounted admission tickets to the Homeschool Day at the Fair on Monday, September 28, 2009.

Ticket Policy for 2009
NO tickets include rides; all tickets are walk-around tickets.

Student Walk-Around Tickets (preschool-grade 12): $6 each (includes $0.50 HEAV administration fee)

Children 2 and under are admitted free.

Adult Walk-Around Tickets (all other ages): $11

PLEASE NOTE: There is one (1) complimentary chaperone ticket for every eight (8) student tickets ordered on ONE order form. We encourage support groups and families to combine ticket purchases to qualify for chaperone tickets.

NEW WRISTBAND POLICY
Ride Wristbands: HEAV will not be selling ride wristband vouchers this year. Advance Ride Ticket Vouchers can be purchased at reduced rates at Kroger stores, FasMart stores, or online at www.statefairva.org through the close of business September 23. If you purchase ride wristbands at the State Fair, your homeschool admission ticket MUST be presented at the ride-ticket booth. For a list of rides and costs, visit www.statefairva.org.

Hours: The special homeschool tickets are good on Monday, September 28, for admission between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. only (although you may stay on the grounds until closing). If you exit the grounds during that time to get lunches, etc., you must have your hand stamped and return for re-admittance between those hours in order to re-enter.

Parking: There is a $5 parking fee at the State Fair.

Tickets are non-refundable.
Homeschool tickets cannot be used any other date, regardless of weather. Admission includes all exhibits but does not include midway rides. Check the State Fair website at www.statefairva.org for a preview!

HOW TO ORDER YOUR HOMESCHOOL TICKETS

Fill out and mail in an order form or include all pertinent information on a sheet of paper.

Orders received through September 14 will be processed September 16 and then mailed. Additional ticket quantities will be limited; orders received after September 14 may be picked up at the HEAV office, or they will be mailed if time allows.
