Virginia Holocaust Museum's Homeschool Day - October 28, 2009

The Virginia Holocaust Museum's Homeschool Day, co-sponsored by HEAV, is scheduled for October 28, 2009, from 10 a.m. to noon.
A guided two-hour teaching tour is available for students who are 10 years old and older. Students must be accompanied by a parent. Students should have some prior knowledge of the Holocaust. For a list of suggested books and websites about the Holocaust, or if you have questions, please contact rberlin@va-holocaust.com.
The Virginia Holocaust Museum is located at 2000 E. Cary Street, Richmond, Virginia. Parking is available across the street. For more information about the museum, visit www.va-holocaust.com. Admission and parking for the museum are FREE, although contributions to the museum are greatly appreciated.
Participation is limited to 75 students. A lunch room is available for those who would like to bring a bag lunch. Please RSVP with the number attending by October 26 to rberlin@va-holocaust.com.
