Acadamiacs
Virginia Largent, author and singer of more than 2000 educational songs appearing on acadamiacs.com, has created the largest online library of musical educational material available in the world. She and her husband, Steve, founded the Virginia Beach School of the Arts in 1998 and have taught thousands of children. Virginia’s purpose and calling is education, and she has written numerous curricula. In addition to having taught piano and violin, she has also been in the academic classroom, instructing in reading, French, and music theory for more than 20 years. Acadamiacs.com has grown out of the merger of her love of music, academics, and the art of teaching. A popular university and convention speaker about the topic of music, learning, and the brain, she is a 1990 honor graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory, holding a Bachelor of Music in piano. Passionate about teaching, Virginia believes that learning should always be FUN, easy, and fast!
