Rachel is a 17-year-old homeschool student who resides in Virginia with her parents and two sisters. She has a passion for great books and has been surrounded by them all her life. Her gift for writing became apparent at the age of 11 through a simple fiction writing assignment in school. She was signed with Zondervan in 2010 for her first young-adult fiction novel, Interrupted, released in March 2012. Her second novel, Chasing Jupiter, was released in December 2012. Rachel has a passion for ministering to and encouraging other young people to follow God’s leading in their lives, and she enjoys every opportunity to speak with young writers.
