Veteran homeschooler, author, and consultant Kathy Kuhl helps parents help children. Kathy offers ideas, encouragement, humor, and biblical insight for all parents, but she has a special concern for parents of students who are struggling, discouraged, gifted—or all three! The author of Staying Sane as You Homeschool, Homeschooling Your Struggling Learner, and the upcoming Encouraging Your Child, she speaks internationally, bridging the homeschool and special-needs communities. She gives phone consultations and offers book reviews and tips in the Learn Differently Newsletter and at her website. She helps lead two homeschool groups in Northern Virginia, is the mother of two amazing young adults, and has been ‘cool’ since she married Fred Kuhl in 1981.
