Because parents are critical in teaching and training the next generation, HEAV would be glad to come alongside you in helping parents understand the importance of their choice in education. HEAV can provide the following materials and services:
Free copies of our quarterly magazine, The Virginia Home Educator, to distribute to parents who may want more information or to parents who already homeschool, but need new ideas and encouragement
HEAV’s History of Home Education video for group viewing
Informative one-hour workshops: “An Introduction to Home Education,” “How to Begin Homeschooling,” and “The Virginia Homeschool Law”
Presentations to MOPS groups about homeschooling as a future educational option for their preschoolers
Please let us know how we can support your ministry to families by contacting the HEAV office at 804-278-9200 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
