Q: Are children in the same family kept together in the Children’s Program?
A: Yes, all children in a family are placed in the same group at the convention unless the parents specifically request that they be placed in separate groups.
A: We make every effort to accommodate special placement requests. Please send requests to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 30, 2013.
A: Only parents are permitted to enter the program room to drop off and pick up children. If you and your spouse have a scheduling conflict due to another convention event, special arrangements may be made for another authorized adult to pick up your child. Arrangements must be made onsite with the Children’s Program coordinator. Under no circumstances will a minor be permitted to pick up children from the program.
A: No food is served or allowed to be eaten in the Children’s Program. If your child must eat during program hours, you may remove him from the program room as needed to get food.
If your child has a severe allergy, please make arrangements for his care in writing with the Children’s Program coordinator.
A: We welcome all children! Unfortunately, we do not have the volunteer staff to care for a child who requires personal care, and our staff members are prohibited from entering the bathroom with any child. A nurse is located in the Children’s Program at all times and a paramedic is available at the Richmond Center. If you have a child with special needs or health concerns who is registered in the Children’s Program, please notify us at email@example.com before the convention.
