Home Education: An Excellent Choice

25th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating blessings, remembering history, renewing vision, and honoring the Lord 25th Anniversary

Twenty-five years ago, homeschoolers were few and far between. There was no "homeschooling movement," only moms and dads dedicated to discipling their own children. These parents couldn't see the results of homeschooling and they didn't have hundreds of companies offering them educational resources—in fact, many of them had to make up their own curriculum materials! They knew, however, God had called them to raise their children for Him.

This year, you are invited to join us in looking back at homeschooling in Virginia. Together, let's celebrate God's faithfulness. Let us remember the history and cherish the hard-won freedom we have to bring up our children at home. And as we move into the future, let us renew afresh the vision to train up the next generation in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
