Jamestown 4-H Educational Center
Saturday, April 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Cost: $6/adult; $4/child, ages 4 to 12 years; children 3 years and younger are free. Cost includes breakfast of buttermilk pancakes, eggs, sausages, and beverages. All proceeds from the pancake breakfast will benefit Operation Purple Camp, a summer camp program in partnership with the National Military Family Association.
The Easter egg hunt for children 12 years and younger begins at 11 a.m. There is no cost to participate in the egg hunt. Additional activities include spring crafts and pictures with the easter bunny.

Henricus Historical Park
Thursday, April 20, 2017, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a free event open to all public, private, or homeschool educators and their immediate family members. Pre-registration is required.
This family-friendly event will include tours of the site, featuring costumed interpreters; meeting the reptiles and amphibians from Rockwood Nature Center; an introduction to the upper elementary and middle school program Colonial Cultures of the James River; discussions on the new STEM offerings, PBL projects available to schools, and Summer Teach Workshops; light refreshments; make and take activities for kids; raffle drawings for educational items from the gift shop; and Title I discount contracts and opportunities.
