Q. Can homeschool students apply for the General Assembly page program?

A. Yes, homeschool students can apply online for the General Assembly page program if they meet the same requirements as public or private school students. Several homeschoolers have had good experiences in the program in previous years.

Students must be 13 or 14 years of age at the beginning of the legislative session (the second Wednesday of January each year). The online application must have been filed between August 1 and October 19, 2015, for the 2016 session. For future reference, you can find additional requirements for the Senate and House page programs here.
