Saturday, June 7, 2014, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Packet pick-up and race-day registration near finish line (7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.); half-mile race for runners ages 4 through 8 (starts at 8 a.m.); one-mile race for runners age 15 and under (starts at 8:15 a.m.); post-race snacks and celebration (8 a.m. to 9 a.m.); awards will be presented at 9 a.m. An additional race will take place on September 13. Cost: $15/participant if registered online before the race; $20/participant if registered at the race by 7:45 a.m.
Endorphin Fitness seeks to benefit children through training for and running races. The course for this race will be on a mix of road and grass at the campus of the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls; all roads will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Learn the basics of clogging and a routine.
Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8, from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost: $50/student (ages six through adult).
Start with easy dances and work up to more challenging ones.
Participants are invited to bring a bag lunch to eat after class.

McLean Bible Church

Liya Music Camp-USA is an intensive music camp for musicians who play violin, viola, cello, or string bass. It is hosted by the McLean Bible Church Orchestra. Students will take part in string orchestra, musical and spiritual instruction, one private lesson, and fun activities.
